The CarboMet positioning paper on ‘The Essential Roles of Carbohydrates in Promoting Gut Microbiota Function Through All Stages of Life’ is now available. This summarises discussions that took place during a two day workshop on ‘The Role of Carbohydrates in the Gut Microbiome’ on 7th & 8th June 2018 in Brussels attended by 40 delegates from academia and industry.
